With an education in Photojournalism and a family background in portrait photography, Erin has been shooting as a freelance photographer in Portland for the past ten years. Combining her love for people and passion for photography, she creates dynamic images that strike a delicate balance between the storytelling and journalism of photography and the art of the medium. Erin's services range from portraits & head shots to special events, weddings, food, product, editorial and commercial photography. She devotes much of her time to macro, nature and fine art photography. Erin also teaches with Saturday Academy offering Intro to Digital Photography and Macro Nature Photography. Saturday Academy is a nonprofit offering enrichment courses and workshops to Portland area children from 4th-12th grade. Erin is a regular contributor to Beer West Magazine and her work has been featured in Imbibe Magazine, The Missoulian, Photo District News and Travel Today in Egypt. She is also represented by Gango Editions, Inc. Gango Editions publishes art prints for wholesale customers in the retail, furniture, gallery and contract framing market.
